Incentive Scheme Payments

$1000 voucher to be made up of the following:

  • $200 when the candidate starts,

  • and $800 after they have completed 8 months of service

Vouchers are to be supplied and funded by each Contract.

Terms and Conditions of the Trial:

  1. This is a trial within the Auckland Team (Maintenance, Construction and Traffic Management) and the Transmission Gully Team Network Steward Team.

  2. The length of the trial is from 1 August 2022 until 31 October 2022 for any referrals.

  3. There is no guarantee that this scheme will continue in its current format once the trial has been completed and this is Ventia’s decision.

  4. Employees must complete the referral form prior to the employee starting to register your referral. This cannot be done after the candidate has begun work. The Contract Manager must sign the referral form.

  5. Employees are not eligible for the referral scheme if they have any decision in the recruitment stage (i.e. candidates cannot report to the employee who is referring them, or be part of the decision making team to hire them).

  6. Only one voucher is payable for the candidate referral (i.e. only one employee can refer a candidate, not multiple employees).

  7. The full voucher is payable upon the successful completion of eight (8) month’s work. For example,

    • Employee refers candidate on 18 August 2022.

    • Candidate starts work on 1 September 2022.

    • Candidate has no performance issues.

    • Employee is eligible for the initial voucher of $200 on 1 September 2022, and the final voucher from 1 March 2023 provided that the candidate and employee is still employed at Ventia.

  8. Vouchers will be distributed on a monthly basis in the Toolbox Meetings.
